2024 Jeep Wrangler

From the high ground clearance to the advanced traction to help you take on any road, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler has a rugged design built with outdoor adventures in mind. These are the rugged design features you’ll experience when you test-drive a Wrangler at your local Jeep dealer.

High Ground Clearance and Water Fording Capabilities

There are 13 different models of the Jeep Wrangler available in 2024. While all models are designed to be rugged, some are more equipped for off-roading than others. The standard ground clearance on the base model of the Wrangler is 9.7 inches. When you upgrade to the Wrangler Rubicon 392, that increases to an impressive 12.9 inches, thanks in part to the large 35-inch tires.

The high ground clearance, coupled with high air intakes, moisture-resistant body openings, and sealed electrical components also allow the Wrangler to ford small bodies of water.

A Factory-Installed Winch

The Wrangler is designed to help you get into and out of tough spots in the most rugged terrain. But if you encounter someone else who is stuck, the factory-installed winch is a huge asset. The WARN wench is capable of handling up to 8,000 pounds, allowing you to utilize your Jeep Wrangler’s rugged design and power to lend a helping hand to another vehicle stuck in a tight spot.

Advanced Traction and Electronic Locking Differentials

Keeping all four tires on the ground and working together is a must if you’re going to traverse the rugged roads. The Wrangler’s advanced traction is designed to help with just that. When the vehicle is in 4×4 High mode, the transfer case delivers a 50/50 split, dividing the Wrangler’s torque between both the front and rear axles. This, coupled with Tru-Lok Electronic Locking Differentials, which deliver equal power to both axles, helps your Jeep conquer the terrain and avoid slipping or spinning your wheels on uneven ground.

One of the Most Rugged Exteriors at Your Local Jeep Dealer

The 2024 Wrangler has several features that help you conquer rugged terrain, but the exterior features its own rugged design that can stand up to any adventures you take on. A variety of wheel options lets you customize your ride based on the types of roads you plan to drive. A redesigned seven-slot grille not only enhances the look of the Wrangler but is also designed to increase airflow to the powertrain to keep it cool. A trail-ready antenna on the exterior has been relocated in the 2024 model, which will prevent it from getting caught when driving under tree branches and other obstacles.
